We reproduce Photography and original Fine Art work on to a variety of high quality papers including Hahnemuhle and Cotton Canvas for short run limited edition prints. When producing a limited edition print it is essential to have a high quality image to work from. This can be done by:

1. Scanning the original art work. This is preferable if your work is flat and not very big. We provide a scanning service, and can scan work up to A2 in size. Alternatively you can go to a professional photo lab who can scan your work for you and put it onto CD.

2. Having the artwork professionally photographed and supplied as a transparency or a high resolution image on disk. This will be necessary for large paintings or if the work is textured or sculptural. The quality of the final print is determined by the quality of the image supplied. If you are scanning make sure your image is at least 300dpi. 600dpi or more for images to be printed A2 or larger.

Choice of Media

We have a variety of paper available ranging from a Photo Rag a smooth surface excellent for photographic work to a variety of textured papers for reproducing pencil sketches, pen and ink, watercolours, pastels and oils. What is Giclee Printing?


Giclee comes from the French word meaning ’to squirt’ referring to the process in which the ink is laid down on the paper. Giclee is the name commonly given to an injet limited edition print. It should refer to a limited edition, fine art print onto archival quality paper and printed with pigment inks which are UV stable.
